Welcome to KMW Acres!    I'm Kelly Barnard, and my husband, Matt, and our son, Wade help me raise beautiful, loving AKC Cocker Spaniels.    While some of our Cockers could be shown, our first priority is raising healthy, loving companions.

KMW Cockers are reasonably priced and affordable in today's economy, and payments are easily arranged.    Appointments to visit or take home one of our Cockers can be scheduled, or shipping is available for an additional fee.    We're located in Buffalo, MO, which is just 30 miles north of Springfield.    A non-refundable deposit of $100 will hold your pup until he or she is 8 weeks old and paid in full.    Shipping must also be paid before a Cocker leaves.    Our Cockers come with full AKC registration (unless otherwise specified), a health certificate, a health guarantee, and a carrier if shipped.

We raise alot of merles, which are unusual and getting more recognition as time passes.    Merles are caused by a gene that often produces unusual coat patterns by lightening the dark hair in random areas.    It can also lighten all or part of an eye or both eyes.    Merles show their coat patterns at birth, often looking as if someone has splattered paint on them.    There is alot of online info about merles, and we recommend you visit our friend Kat's website www.katterykennels.com, or check out www.merlecockers.com to learn more, and of course we're always more than happy to help answer your questions:)
